As you you may already know, I am a member of an elite photography body called the Master Photographers Association or the MPA. This organisation is about raising the standards of both photographers and their businesses to ensure our customers receive the best quality products, from reputable photography companies. To do this the MPA offer a number of support services to it’s members, this includes mentor programs, training, qualifications, webinars and a helpful online community. During each lockdown the MPA have put on a number of educational webinars for us to enjoy, we have been set homework to stretch our skill set, and now, in lockdown part 3 we have been set the challenge to look after our bodies too.
Over 50 MPA members, me included, have signed up to do the MPA 5 by 50 Challenge. This means that for 50 days (conveniently taking us to the last day of February) we are to walk, run, or cycle 5k, every single day. For each member that completes the challenge the MPA will be planting 50 trees. As a group we are cheering each other on Strava and we as sharing our 5K photo’s on social media with the hashtag #mp5by50.
I will be posting the trips out on my mountain bike, or out with my dogs on my Instagram stories if you would like to see how I am getting on.
45 days left to 50 more trees and Spring too.
